Look at the size of that thing!
For the sake of comparison, I decided to take a picture of the differences between a reference cooler R9 290 and this Sapphire card:
There is a definite size difference between the two, but all in all, the Fury card is actually smaller – the custom cooling solution just takes tons of space. In order to seat the card in it’s socket, I had to remove a USB 3 connector from the motherboard for the seating – after the card was in place, it was easy to reseat the USB 3 connector.
